LUXAR TECH LTC2030 10G 8 XFP Port Optical-Electric-Optical System

The Luxar LTC2030 is a 10G 8 XFP port optical-electric-optical system with compact design and low power consumption. It uses the optical-electric-optical conversion to regenerate the optical signal, working with C/DWDM MUX and DEMUX to fulfill the transmission. Supports 10 Gb/s, SDH/SONET, Ethernet and other optical communication system, provide a fast and low cost solution for optical repeater and transmissions. Using 19” 1RU standard rack, it supports 8 slots for XFP modules. Integrated CDR function provides good performance on optical regenerator, OEO mode optical signal amplifier applications. Software configurable optical interface supports single port loopback and dual port cross loopback modes. Also support regular CWDM, DWDM and single fiber transport system application. Specifications. Service Data Rate: Multi-rate up to 11.3 Gbit/s. Service interface: XFP. Service protocol: 10GE, STM-64 /OC-192, 10xFC, OTU1, OTU2. Optional device: Optical Mux / Demux, EDFA. Redundant Dual Supply Power.

Standard Calibration $540.00 *

Extinction Ratio
Extinction ratio is the ratio of two optical power levels, of a digital signal generated by an optical source, where P1 is the optical power level generated when the light source is "on," and P0 is the power level generated when the light source is "off." The extinction ratio may be expressed as a fraction, in dB, or as a percentage. Extinction ratio = P1/P0

Receiver
A receiver is a detector and electronic circuitry to change optical signals into electrical signals.

Telecom Bands
Optical fiber communications typically operate in a wavelength region corresponding to one of the following Bands. O Band (original): 1260–1360 nm. E Band (extended): 1360–1460 nm. S Band (short wavelengths): 1460–1530 nm. C Band (conventional): 1530–1565 nm. L Band (long wavelengths): 1565–1625 nm. U Band (ultralong wavelengths): 1625–1675 nm
